Fellowship in Home & Hospice Palliative Care
Inviting healthcare professionals with MBBS/MD/DNB qualifications to apply for a two- and one-year fellowship in home and hospice palliative care — a recognised Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) fellowship, with an IAPC-designed course and exit examination.
Who Can Apply
- MBBS, DNB, or MD from an NMC-recognised institution.
- Valid state/NMC registration.
- If selected, candidates will have to complete IAPC life membership registration.
On-Site, Full-Time, at Ganga Prem Hospice
Ganga Prem Hospice has a 25-bed inpatient facility in Raiwala, Rishikesh, serving patients from all over north India. The hospice also has a home care service in three cities: Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh. GPH specialises in providing palliative and hospice care to terminally ill cancer patients.
Award on Successful Completion
On successful completion of the fellowship and passing the IAPC exit examination, the candidate will be awarded the IAPC Fellowship in Home & Hospice Palliative Care (IAPC-FHHPC) certificate. The certificate will be conferred during the Convocation Ceremony held at the IAPC annual national conference — IAPCON.
Stipend, Accommodation & Documents
Monthly Stipend
A fixed monthly stipend will be provided based on institutional policy, subject to TDS and statutory deductions.
Accommodation
On-campus accommodation is available — a single furnished room with attached bath. Food is also available on campus at nominal cost.
