Bereavement Care & Rehabilitation

The bereavement support service gives much needed support to family and friends after the patient has died. The support continues until the loved ones feel it is no longer needed and includes rehabilitation of the bereaved family where necessary.

The bereavement support service provides:

• Help with practical arrangements such as funeral arrangements after the death of a patient
• Counselling – helping family members manage the process of grief
• Rehabilitation service including practical support such as education for bereaved children and training for widows
