  • Ganga Prem Hospice and RGCIRC, as part of their free cancer screening campaign for workers of all industries, organise a screening camp at the Sterling Marbella hotel in Dehradun for the establishment’s employees. To be held on the 11th of September, 2025, the camp will offer the services of an otolaryngologist, a gynaecologist, and a palliative medicine specialist free-of-charge. The aim of the screening camp and an accompanying awareness session is to foster understanding of why detecting cancer early is important and can save one’s life. Women can get a pap smear test free of charge, while everybody who comes for screening will have a free vital check, weight check, and blood sugar test.

  • Sunday, 28 September, 2025 At Sardarni Nanki Devi-Punjab Sindh Kshetra Hospital, Haridwar Road, Rishikesh {Text:} Ganga Prem Hospice organises its monthly charitable cancer clinic in Rishikesh on the last Sunday of every month. To be held on the 28th of September, from 9AM to 1PM, senior surgical oncologist and Ganga Prem Hospice medical director Dr AK Dewan will be available for free-of-charge consultation. Palliative medicine specialist Dr Taranjit Singh will also be available for consultation. The cancer clinic will also provide the services of a dental surgeons team, free medicines, vitals check, and counselling. Patients can opt for the Ganga Prem Hospice home care service if needed. The clinics have been held in central Rishikesh, at the Sardarni Nanki Devi-Punjab Sindh Kshetra hospital, on Haridwar road, near the Rajasthani Mishthaan Bhandaar, since 2007.
