Krishna Das Kirtan is being organized for Ganga Prem Hospice in Rishikesh on 25 & 26 October 2025.
For a decade and a half, Krishna Das has been supporting and raising funds for Ganga Prem Hospice’s end-of-life cancer care work.
On October 25 & 26, 2025, KD will return to Rishikesh to enthrall us all with this kirtan.
All proceeds will go towards supporting Ganga Prem Hospice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN AND WHERE IS THE KIRTAN?
The kirtan will be held at Ashirwad Vatika, Haridwar Road, Rishikesh, on October 25th (Saturday) and October 26th (Sunday). Kindly use Google Maps to reach the venue.
WHERE CAN WE STAY IN RISHIKESH?
Ashirwad Vatika is centrally located. Since it’s the holiday season, we recommend making reservations in advance. Nearby areas include Ram Jhula, Janki Jhula, Triveni Ghat, and Tapovan, all within a 10 km radius.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?
The forecast shows a temperature of 20-25 degrees celsius, with a cool breeze in the evening. It is advisable to carry a light layer.
WHAT TIME DOES THE KIRTAN START?
The kirtan begins at 2:00 PM.
Gate No.03: The Ashirvad Vatika gate will open one hour before the kirtan, for Platinum & Gold pass holders only.
Gate No.1: Jyoti Special School is the general entry gate for all categories of pass holders. Entrance to the Venue.
Gate No.5: will open approximately one hour before the kirtan time. Seating is first-come, first-served, with limited chairs and ample floor seating. Please offer chairs to the elderly, pregnant women, and people with physical disabilities.
HOW DO I REACH THE VENUE?
If you are driving, you may park your vehicle at Ram Jhula or Janki Jhula and use public transport to reach the venue. A very limited number of parking spaces will also be available close to the venue.
WHERE CAN I COLLECT THE PASSES?
Passes can be collected at the venue on the day of the kirtan. Please bring your receipt from Shradha Cancer Care Trust and your original PAN card.
Note this – Only the donor whose name is on the receipt can collect the pass. No one else will be allowed.
Please check your booking date carefully. Passes are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or to another date.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
While children are welcome, we recommend not bringing them due to the weather conditions and large crowds. Their Safety and your comfort are our priorities, Children of all ages 5 and above require a pass to attend the kirtan, and Under 5 must carry an Aadhaar or a birth certificate.
WILL FOOD AND WATER BE AVAILABLE?
Yes, a diverse food court will offer a range of options. Water bottles will also be available. Please bring cash for all purchases.
What to do in case of an emergency?
In case of an emergency please head to the Ganga Prem Hospice table in Ashirvad Vatika, where a team of doctors and nurses will assist you.
Do’s and Don’t at the VENUE
- Smoking, e-cigarettes, and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
- Avoid bringing musical instruments.
- Limit mobile phone use and keep your phones on silent mode throughout the kirtan.
- No outside food or drink is permitted within the premises of the kirtan.
- Bring a shoe bag to keep your shoes or purchase one at the venue. Under no circumstances will footwear be allowed in Ashirwad Vatika.
- Tobacco, narcotics, matchboxes, lighters, and other inflammable or sharp objects are not permitted. GoPro cameras are prohibited.
- No backpacks, handbags, or other baggage are allowed inside the venue.
- There is NO storage facility available at the event.
- Organizer’s reserve the right to perform security checks on invitees/members of the audience at the entry point for security reasons. In case anyone is found violating the rules, they will be asked to vacate or will be denied entry into the event, despite holding a valid ticket, without any refund.
Do’s and Don’t at the VENUE
- No refunds on purchased tickets are possible, even in the case of any rescheduling.
- Security procedures, including frisking, remain the right of the management.
- The organizers reserve the right, without refund or other recourse, to refuse admission to anyone found to be in breach of these terms and conditions, including, if necessary, ejecting the holder(s) of the ticket from the venue after they have entered the premises.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The sponsors, performers, and organizers are not responsible for any injury or damage occurring as a result of the event. Any claims regarding the same will be settled in the courts of Delhi.
- Individuals in an inebriated state may not be allowed entry.
- Organizers reserve the right to deny late entry to the event.
- Venue rules apply.
Do’s and Don’t at the VENUE
- Organizers or any of their agents, officers, and employees shall not be responsible for any injury, damage, theft, losses, or costs suffered at or as a result of the event or any part of it.
- Parking near or at the venue premises is at the risk of the vehicle owner. The organizers will not be responsible for any damage to or theft of vehicles within the stipulated parameters.
- Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket will lead to the seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.

- Please dress respectfully, keeping in mind the solemnity of the occasion.
- Attendees of the kirtan hereby grant the organizers the right to use, in perpetuity, all or any part of any recording made of their appearance on any channel for broadcast in any media globally, and for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes related thereto.
