Shaping Joy: Art Therapy at Ganga Prem Hospice

At Ganga Prem Hospice, we recently held a nature-inspired art therapy session for our patients and their caregivers. It was a heartwarming afternoon where everyone got the chance to express themselves freely and creatively using simple, natural materials like clay, flowers, leaves, and paints.

The creativity was inspiring—some made kitchen items, fruits, and vegetables, while others shaped trees, flowers, and even an elephant. One patient, guided by their spiritual beliefs, created a Shivalinga and Lord Hanuman’s Gada. Each piece told a story, reflecting the inner world of the person who made it.

There was laughter, playfulness, and a shared sense of joy as everyone got their hands messy. The session was not just fun—it was healing. It reminded us that even in difficult times, art can bring light, connection, and comfort.
