Basic Health Screening for children in vill. Dunda, GPH Health Screening camp no. 54

On November 4, 2025, the Ganga Prem Hospice doctor, nurses and support team will organise a very special health checkup for children in Devidhar area of village Dunda in Uttarkashi.
Up at 1500 ft above sea level, a health screening camp is planned at the Happy By Nature school, which has 130 students from class I to VIII, and 14 teachers.
Says Rohitash Thapliyal of Kuflon Charitable Trust, Uttarkashi, who facilitated the organising of the screening camp, “children in the mountains have growth issues, largely owing to malnutrition. Anaemia is also a concern”.
The GPH health screening camp will provide screening by medical professionals, medicines and nutritional supplements to the children free-of-charge.
