Wipro Champions Employee Health:
On 15th December 2023, a cancer screening camp was organized at Wipro-Haridwar for the second time in this financial year in collaboration with Ganga Prem Hospice and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center (RGCIRC). Over 100 attendees participated in Cancer Screening Camp and Awareness Session.
The inclusion of a Pap test for 53% of female attendees is commendable, emphasizing the camp’s comprehensive approach to women’s health. The participation of 104 individuals, including 63 males and 41 females, reflects the importance of such initiatives in promoting early cancer detection. Dr. Aishwarya Vinod (Gynecologist) and Dr. Dhriti Dhawan (ENT Specialist), both from the Preventive Oncology team at RGCIRC, conducted a 30-minute cancer awareness talk.
The screening continued throughout the day, accommodating both regular and second-shift workers.
