Bereavement Support

The Mishra family was and is forever grateful to Ganga Prem Hospice (GPH) for the love and care the team showed to their beloved mother / wife, Meera Mishra, during her final days. Meera, a 68-year-old Breast Cancer Patient, received homecare services of Ganga Prem Hospice in Haridwar and was later admitted to In-Patient Facility at Ganga Prem Hospice. Meera Mishra passed away on June 13, 2024, at Ganga Prem Hospice.

Her husband, Updesh Kumar Mishra, 71, was particularly thankful for the compassion and support the GPH team showed during their bereavement visit on June 25, 2024, after the traditional Hindu ritual of Tervhi on June 24.

The family expressed their heartfelt appreciation, saying, “She got better daughters in the form of the GPH team, who took care of our mother so selflessly.” They praised the team, saying, “Your love and care are unmatched, and we cannot thank you enough. If GPH wasn’t there, our mother wouldn’t have been able to spend her last days in peace. Even after her passing, your support means the world to us.”

The family’s gratitude was a testament to the dedication and compassion of the GPH team, who went beyond their duties to provide comfort and support during the most challenging times.
