At the end of May 2023, Ganga Prem Hospice welcomed a new, 5-seater Maruti EECO to its home care fleet. The vehicle was donated by the Mukul Madhav Foundation, the CSR partners of Finolex Industries based in Pune, Maharashtra. Along with the vehicle, the charity also donated food ration kits and warm shawls for current GPH patients and staff.
The ceremonial inauguration of the vehicle was conducted by Shri Arun Kant Ojha, General Manager, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh Finolex Industries. He was accompanied by Finolex Industries officers Mr Aman Bhandari and Mr Bharat Chand. The Ganga Prem Hospice Medical Director, Dr AK Dewan, Trustee Dr Rupali Dewan, and Spiritual Advisor Nani Ma were present to witness the ribbon cutting and accept the vehicle on behalf of GPH. The new vehicle will support GPH’s efforts to expand reliable home care service throughout the region.
