  What Is Ganga Prem Hospice?
Ganga Prem Hospice is a spiritually orientated, non-profit hospice for terminally ill cancer patients. The Hospice is being constructed at the foot of the Himalayas on the bank of the river Ganga.

Situated at Gohri Maphi near Rishikesh and Haridwar, the spiritual and holistic centres, the Hospice will provide medical, emotional and spiritual support for individuals and their grieving families.

The First Holi at the Inpatient Facility
Patients, families, staff and visitors celebrated the spring festival of Holi this year on 1st March 2018. After a traditional music and dance performance by the school children from the local Tibetan Homes Foundation, pop music was played while everyone danced and played with colours. The day ended with tea and snacks.

GPH & Pallium India Promoting Palliative Care


On 24th February 2018, Ganga Prem Hospice signed an agreement with Pallium India, an organization from Kerala, to collaborate on a two-year project which will facilitate and enhance availability of palliative care and adequate pain relief in the state of Uttarakhand. Ganga Prem Hospice is happy to be able to enhance its initiatives in this field.
